Flight Adventure Park Ballin’ Basketball Tournament

1st and 3rd Friday of the month. 4pm-close
Tournament Requirements:
- You must have a Waiver and a First Class Membership to sign up. Start practicing now! Please visit our website to complete your waiver and purchase your membership. This will help avoid any delays on the day off.
- Must be 16 years old or older to play.
- Each team will appoint a Team Captain who will sign in with the name of your team.
- Teams will sign up in park the day of the tournament on a first come first serve basis. Cut offs for sign ups will be at 3:45pm or once we reach 32 teams, whichever comes first.
- When you arrive, please head to the front desk to verify your waiver and membership. You will then be directed to the Tournament Director to sign in and pay your $10 entry fee. (Must be paid in cash).
- We will have up to 32 teams of 3 players each.
- Games will be played by brackets starting with full court, then half court with a 7 minute timer. The first team to reach 10 points or the highest score at 7 minutes will advance to the next round.
- In the event of a tie, your best player (appointed by the Team Captain) will make a half court shot. First to make it will advance.
- Beginning at 7pm, this will be a lights out tournament, as our park now shifts to Flight Night!
- There is a $10 entry fee per person to go towards the Prize Fund.
- The Prize Fund is awarded by amount, based on how many teams join.For Example:
32 teams enter – $10 per player equals $960 in the prize fund
1st place will receive $500, 2nd place will receive $300 and 3rd place will receive $160 This will be paid out at the end of the Tournament. The Park will run the brackets.
6 teams enter – $10 per player equals $180 in the prize fund
1st place will receive $90, 2nd place will receive $60 and 3rd place would receive $30
Invite your friends. The more teams, the bigger the prize fund!
Tournament Rules:
Conduct:
There will be a non biased referee for all games. This will be a Flight Adventure Park Team Member. They will be responsible for making all calls and will not be able to participate in the Tournament.
- All participants, coaches and spectators shall refrain from using profanity or verbal abuse towards other players, coaches, spectators, referees the tournament staff and while on the premises of Flight Adventure Park.
- This is a Drug and Alcohol Free Event. No alcoholic beverages or drugs are allowed on the premises. Any coach or player(s) engaged in the use of alcohol or drugs will be disqualified from further participation in the tournament and asked to leave the facility immediately.
- Team Captains will be responsible for the conduct of their players. Teams and spectators shall abide by the tournament rules and regulations.
- No food or beverages are allowed in the park. Only water and sport bottles will be permitted. Food and beverage can be purchased at the location but must be consumed in dedicated areas.
- Flight Adventure Park and the tournament staff are not responsible for any personal items that are left behind, lost or stolen.
Basketball Tournament Rules and Regulations:
- Fighting or an attempt to strike an opponent with the arms, hands, legs, feet or a combative action by one or more players, a coach or other team personnel will result in forfeit. Any member or team personnel who participates in a fight shall be immediately suspended from the game for the duration to be determined by the Tournament Director and asked to leave the premises immediately. Length of suspension will be assessed on an individual basis and may be up to six months in duration.
- Let it be known that spectators and visitors who too elect to involve themselves in a fight during a game, will be suspended from the facility for a length of time to be determined by the Park Manager.
- Should any team, player(s) or Captain be disqualified from tournament play, there will be no refunds.
